About this service
Children today face unprecedented levels of screen exposure, academic pressure, and emotional complexity. A 2024 meta-analysis confirmed significant positive effects of yoga on children's executive functioning skills — including working memory, inhibitory control, and attention — in children aged 3 to 7. School-based yoga research shows improvements in emotional regulation, self-confidence, focus, academic performance, and peer interaction.
At Tratak, Kids Yoga is designed to be playful, engaging, and entirely age-appropriate — never a miniature adult class. Sessions use story, movement, breath games, and imagination to introduce children to tools they will carry for life: how to breathe when overwhelmed, how to still the body when the mind races, how to relate to their own experience with curiosity rather than reactivity.
“School-based yoga improves self-concept, resilience, depression, self-esteem, subjective wellbeing, executive function, and academic performance in both neurotypical and neurodiverse populations.”
